AI VIDEO WORKFLOWS

WORKFLOW EXPLAINED

Creating AI videos involves a unique workflow distinct from traditional TV production. Each step of the process utilizes different AI tools to achieve stunning results, and these workflows vary based on the type of video you want to create, your personal style, and your level of expertise.

Here, we’ll guide you through the most effective workflows and showcase different approaches to help you find the best production process for your needs.

AI Video Production Process

When it comes to producing AI videos, there isn’t a single "right" way to do it. There are many different approaches depending on your vision, style, and the tools you choose to use. However, through our course, we’ll share what we believe are the best practices to streamline your workflow and achieve consistently outstanding results. Our goal is to equip you with the most effective techniques and insights for every step of the AI video production process.

AI Video Production Process (in order)

1. Idea Generation

First, we need to develop and generate video ideas, whether it's based on specific trends, styles, interests, or letting AI inspire us completely. The tools we'll be using for this include:

ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, CoPilot, and Claude

2. video Script / Structure

Next, we focus on developing either a detailed script or a structured outline, depending on the project’s needs. To achieve this, we’ll be using the tools: Squibler, ChatGPT, ChatSonic, Gemini, and Text Cortex & more

3. AI Audio

"In AI video production, the process often resembles animation, where audio is developed first and visuals are then created to match it. This approach lets you craft precise visuals that sync seamlessly with your audio. In this course, we’ll be exploring tools including

Suno, ElevenLabs, Udio, and Filmora

4. AI Mood board/ Design

It’s best practice to create a mood board, a design chart, and a consistency guide. This helps ensure continuity throughout your video and keeps everything aligned with your branding. For this, we’ll be using tools like:

Midjourney and Gemini.

5. AI Storyboard

In the AI video world, storyboarding takes on a slightly different role. It can actually be the first step in generating the visuals that become the final video. We start by creating a basic skeleton storyboard, which serves as the foundation for all the images we’ll later transform into videos. In this course, we’ll be using:

Midjourney, Storyboarder, and Photoshop

6. AI Image Generation

Images are often considered just as crucial as video production tools in AI video creation. This is where you have the greatest control over crafting and refining the visuals to elevate your final video. By mastering image creation, you give yourself the best chance of producing truly stunning videos. The tools we'll be using include:

Midjourney, Runway (Image), DALL-E, Photoshop, Grok, Stable Diffusion, Adobe Firefly, Gemini, and Meta AI

7. AI Video Generation

Next up—probably the part you’ve all been waiting for—video generation! There are constantly evolving tools in this space, but we’ll focus on mastering these key tools, which I'll continue updating and expanding over time. These include: Runway, VEO, Sora, Pika, Luma Dream Machine, Hapier, Kaiber, InVideo, Akool, Heygen, Hedra and Flux

8. AI Improve Resolution

This stage, known as upscaling, might be optional in your AI video workflow, but it’s essential for enhancing video quality when needed. Some projects will require it, while others won’t and some AI video tools have 4k upscaling included organically. The key tools we’ll explore for this include:

 Topaz, Filmora, and Morph Studios

9. AI Editing

Editing is, of course, a crucial step in creating any video, and AI video production is no exception. There are several AI-powered tools available to streamline post-production, and which ones you choose will depend on your specific project needs. The key tools we’ll be using include:

 Filmora, Premiere Pro, and CapCut

10. AI Sound Effects / Sound Design

Lastly, before sharing your videos with the world, clients, or storing them for personal viewing, we'll finalize the sound design using AI to add sound effects and enhancements. For this, we’ll primarily be using: ElevenLabs
